What happens when a product becomes a category benchmark? You raise the bar again. With Thule, we revisited one of our own designs, the Yepp child bike seat, not to reinvent it but to evolve it for today’s families. Designed to meet modern safety, style, and sustainability expectations, the Yepp 2 proves that even icons can keep moving forward.

When Thule aimed to expand into the car seat market, they partnered with MODYN to ensure their entry was both innovative and aligned with their brand ethos. Through strategic planning, user-centric research, and close collaboration, we developed a car seat range that not only meets stringent safety standards but also resonates with modern families. This venture underscores how thoughtful design can seamlessly blend functionality, safety, and brand identity.

With the E-GRAVLR, we set out to explore how material innovation could unlock a new future for bike design. Working with Covestro and REIN4CED, we developed a concept frame using continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites—a breakthrough material that’s lighter, stronger, and far more recyclable than traditional carbon fiber. This advanced construction not only opens the door to local European manufacturing but also allows for greater design freedom and integration. E-GRAVLR isn’t just a bike concept—it’s a vision for a smarter, more sustainable cycling industry.

As cities embrace sustainable transportation, efficient infrastructure becomes essential. Collaborating with KNOT, MODYN designed the V6 Pro Docking Station, a modular solution that seamlessly integrates locking, docking, and charging for bikes and scooters. With user-friendly features like automatic vehicle recognition and app-based access, the V6 Pro enhances the micromobility experience while maintaining a compact, adaptable footprint suitable for diverse urban environments.​
